Motorists warned of ‘severe’ delays on the A1

Motorists are being warned of ‘severe delays’ on the A1.

Travellers on the southbound section near Grantham between Gonerby Lane and the A607 are facing waits of up to 12 minutes at present.

“Severe delays of twelve minutes and delays increasing on A1 Southbound between Gonerby Lane (Marston Turn Off) and A607 (Harlaxton / Melton Mowbray Turn Off),” The AA Traffic website explained.

“Average speed ten mph.”
