A woman has organised a charity netball match in aid of a hospice which looked after her father before he died.

Kathryn Appleyard organised the match between Grantham Beauty Clinic, who she works for, and Daniel Allen’s Blunt Hairdressers in support of Beaumond House Hospice and in memory of her father Maurice Appleyard.

Kathryn said: “Beaumond House cared for my father at home and I wanted to give them something back in return to say thank you. We won the match 28-16. With all the donations and raffle we raised £1,500. I would like to thank everyone who donated and helped on the day."
