Painting for Pleasure is next exhibition at Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery in Corby Glen




A new exhibition looks at paintings in watercolour, acrylic and pastel.

The ‘Painting for Pleasure’ exhibition, held by the Swayfield Art Group, opens tomorrow (Wednesday, April 17) and runs until Wednesday, May 8 at the Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery in Corby Glen.

The Swayfield Art Group is a collection of people who meet every Tuesday morning at Swayfield Village Hall to encourage others to draw and paint.

The subjects of their works vary from landscapes and seascapes to portraits, wildlife, imaginative and decorative pieces created in a range of styles and techniques.

The gallery is open from Tuesdays until Sunday from noon until 5pm.

Admission is free.
