Soft play area and café are new features at All Day Play in Grantham

A popular craft studio in Grantham has invested in a new soft play area – a space that is “just what Grantham needed”.

Mother-of-three Megan Gilmartin runs All Day Play, a large craft studio and outdoor space where youngsters can get messy and creative at stations which each offer a different activity.

With a large lobby area not reaching its full potential, Megan decided to introduce a soft play area for crawling babies up to six-year-olds, as well as a café.

Megan, 32, said: “I am so excited for our updated space at All Day Play, so far the feedback has been amazing.

“Our customers are loving the new play area and it’s so great to see.

“I think this type of space is just what Grantham has needed.”

The soft play area opened last Monday, alongside the café serving toasties, freshly baked sweet treats, hot and cold drink and snacks for little ones.

It will be celebrating the coronation of King Charles III all month with the theme of red, white and blue.

All Day Play – which is on the Chandlers Yard Business Park, in Greyfriars – opened in December 2021 and expanded into a garden space six months later to include a three-level mud kitchen, extended painting wall and more.

The business was a runner-up in the Best New Start-up category of last year’s Grantham Journal Business Awards.
