New room opened for toddlers at Grantham day nursery

Young children have this week been enjoying playing in a new room at a popular Grantham nursery.

The pre-fabricated structure has been added on to the premises at Beacon Lane Day Nursery.

The room has allowed the family-run organisation to take in an extra 20 youngsters to increase its capacity to 74.

Gillian Watson, a manager at the nursery, said: “There was a demand for us to take more children so we decided to extend the nursery.

“The new room is being used by toddlers and the reaction so far from the parents has been very positive - they can’t believe how big it is inside.”
