Mrs Kathleen Mary Bainbridge, of West Grove, Colsterworth, has died in Lincoln County Hospital. She was 58.

The daughter of Mrs Ada Hall and the late Jack Hall, she was born in South Witham and was one of six children.

Mrs Bainbridge was married to John.She was mother to six children, Tracy, Carl, Darren, Craig, Aimee and Ian, and a loving nanna to 10 grandchildren.

Her early employment was with ACC Packaging and taxi driving. More recently she worked at Colsterworth Primary School, where she was extremely popular with the children; and the local Co-op store, where customers would always be welcomed with a smile.

Mrs Bainbridge’s interests included darts, DIY and decorating, but her passion was gardening and she would spend many hours working on it to keep it looking lovely.

The Rev Eric Lomax conducted the funeral service at St John the Baptist Church, Colsterworth. Cremation followed in Grantham.
