Our poll this week asks – is the return of the Grantham Carnival parade, raft race and Gravity Fields important for the town?
A Grantham councillor talked about his hopes for the return of once-popular community events last week, in his inaugural column for the Grantham Journal.
“I dislike what Grantham has become but I am in love with what it could be,” wrote Independent Councillor Tim Harrison, who was elected on to South Kesteven District Council in May.
He went on to say he hopes to see the return of Grantham Carnival parade, the River Witham raft race and arts and science festival Gravity Fields.
We’re keen to know what YOU think and so invite you to take part in our poll below. In it we ask – do you feel the return of the Grantham Carnival parade, raft race and Gravity Fields are important for the town?
