People urged to check outbuildings and woodland walkers asked to keep eyes peeled for missing Grantham man Marcin




Walkers in woodland areas around Grantham are urged to keep an eye out for a missing man.

Residents are also asked to check their outbuildings, such as sheds, barns and garages, as officers step up efforts to find missing man Marcin.

The 30-year-old Polish man was reported missing from Harrowby Close, in Grantham, on Thursday.

In their first appeal, officers said they were “desperate” to track him down, adding that he is believed to still be in the Grantham area.

Now, officers are asking people out walking in the below locations to keep their eyes peeled. The locations are:

Alma Park Woods

Londonthorpe woods

Belton Golf Course

Bellmount Plantation

Five Gates Woods

Queen Elizabeth Park

Wyndham Park

Hills and Hollows

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “He has been missing for several days and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.”

Marcin is described as being around 5ft ins, of medium build, with brown short hair.

He is thought to have slept at multiple locations in the area and may be staying with an English national.
