A person has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after a collision which closed the A1 southbound.
Lincolnshire Police has confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision this morning (Tuesday) on the A1 southbound carriageway.
The A1 southbound was closed from the A607 at Harlaxton to the B668 at South Witham, following the “serious collision”.
However, as of 3.20pm, one lane of the carriageway has been reopened, while another remains closed.
The AA Live Traffic Map also reported a broken down van near the A151 junction for Colsterworth Services.
A police spokesperson said: “Traffic is moving slowly. Please take your time and keep everyone safe.”
