Grantham wildlife photographer to sell red kite calendars on the market for Cancer Research UK
A Grantham wildlife photographer is again selling calendars containing his pictures to raise money for charity.
Steve Nesbitt will be on Grantham Market on December 2, selling his calendars to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
He first started selling calendars made from his own wildlife photographs in 2016 and has raised £2,750 during that time.
Steve, born and bred in Grantham, raises the money to pay tribute to his father, Jimmy Nesbitt who died from cancer in 1998, aged 70.
Last year, Steve’s calendar was called 'Birds of Thailand' with 12 shots from a trip to south east Asia. 80 copies were sold, raising £450.
Steve enjoys bird watching, and this year’s calendar features the red kite, which can be increasingly seen in several areas of Grantham, including Queen Elizabeth Park and the town centre.
It is not just wildlife that Steve takes pictures of. He captured some of the town’s most iconic landmarks while on a walkabout earlier this year.
Calendars can be ordered for £12 each (plus £4 postage if required) by emailing Steve via lincssnapper@gmail.com
There will also be copies of the calendar available on December 2 when Steve is on the market.
