Plans for three homes on the site of former Claypole post office
A proposal has been submitted to build three new homes on the site of a former village post office.
H5 Homes Ltd is seeking approval to build a trio of three-bedroom homes on a site in Main Street, Claypole, which previously housed the village post office.
The application includes the demolition of the existing “redundant” buildings, which include the old post office and outhouses, to make room for the three new homes.
Outline permission to build three homes on the site was granted in November 2021.
Two of the proposed homes would have joint access off Main Street, with the third new home having a driveway in Coulby Close.
A detached garage would also be constructed to accompany the third home off Coulby Close.
The site is currently vacant, and was last used as a post office.
