Plans for new takeaway restaurant in Grantham town centre

Plans have been submitted for a new chicken takeaway in Grantham town centre.

25 Watergate in Grantham is the subject of a recent planning application to be used as a chicken takeaway restaurant.

Manik Ahmed Chowdhury is the applicant behind the proposal, which seeks a lawful development certificate.

The certificate would see the use of the currently vacant shop change from commercial to hot food takeaway.

The application said: “The proposal aligns with local planning policies, offers beneficial land use, and adheres to all legal and environmental standards

“Given its economic benefits and positive community impact, a lawful development certificate should be granted.”
