Plans to convert barns at Syston Park Farm into five homes

Plans have been submitted to convert a group of barns into five homes.

An application from Ms Trish Clegg has been lodged to use the existing agricultural buildings as five homes.

The buildings sit on a site within Syston Park Farm, which is to the east of the A607 between Belton and Barkston.

The total site is around 205 hectares, 157 of which are used for farming and around 48 hectares are residential land.

The farm also hosts a farm shop and café, agricultural outbuildings, a residential lake house, Syston Hall and associated residential garaging and outbuildings.

The agricultural buildings, which are proposed for conversion are located in the eastern half of the proposed development site, approximately 1.8km north of Bellmount Tower.
