Police on scene of A1 collision near Grantham

Traffic is currently at a standstill on the A1 Southbound, South of Grantham.

Eyewitnesses have reported seeing several police cars and an air ambulance in the area.

Lincolnshire Police tweeted: "Due to a collision involving two vehicles, the A1 southbound, just past Grantham and next to the turn-off for Little Ponton, has tailbacks due to heavy traffic and blocked lanes. Please avoid the area if you can."
