Police told man was stabbed at out-of-control house party in Grantham




A house party got out of hand and led to several police units being called out.

Officers went to the scene in Harlaxton Road at around 11.30pm last Saturday after getting reports of a disturbance.

A police spokesperson said: “One of the calls was reporting someone had suffered stab wounds.

“Officers established there had been a party at one of the properties on the road and quickly established that no-one had been stabbed. On their arrival a large group of people quickly ran from the area.”

One man had been assaulted but did not make a formal complaint.
