Lincolnshire Police share poster to discourage visits from trick-or-treaters during Halloween period

Police have shared a poster designed to deter trick-or-treaters during Halloween.

With Halloween just around the corner, the custom of trick-or-treating will soon begin, with costumed youngsters walking from door-to-door asking for sweets.

Some houses indicate their willingness to take part in the tradition, usually with the placing of spooky decorations or pumpkins outside.

The poster can be displayed to deter trick-or-treaters.

However, having trick-or-treaters come to the door is not something that everyone enjoys.

Lincolnshire Police has therefore created a poster for residents to place on their front door or window to let people know that they do not want trick-or-treaters to knock on their door this Halloween.

These posters are available to collect from the leaflet stand at Grantham Police Station or can be printed at home.
