Headteacher of Grantham school says students have shown ‘tenacity’ to achieve a 100 per cent pass rate in their A-levels
The headteacher of Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School says his students have shown ‘tenacity’ and ‘ability’ this year to achieve a 100 per cent pass rate in their A-levels.
James Fuller praised his students this morning (Thursday) for an excellent set of results with 26 students achieving at least three A grades.
He said the students have worked incredibly hard, demonstrating superb tenacity and ability to achieve well in their qualifications with the majority of students securing a place on their chosen pathway.
Mr Fuller said: “We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements. They have worked tirelessly to ensure they achieve the qualifications needed, to allow them to progress on to further education, study and employment.
“On behalf of our school community, I wish to congratulate each of them and look forward to hearing about their future success.”
The overall A level pass rate was 100 per cent, with 34 per cent of grades being awarded at A*-A and 68 per cent between A*-B.
