Gambit73 in Grantham set to host event for Batman Day 2023 with free comics on offer

A new town centre shop is hosting a Batman-themed event, with free comics set to be given away.

Gambit73, a comic and memorabilia shop, was recently opened in Westgate by owners Claire Hall and Dan Powell.

On Saturday (September 16), the shop will host its first event, which celebrates Batman Day 2023.

The event starts from 9am, with the Dark Knight set to visit Gambit73 from 12pm onwards.

The shop is offering free Batman comics to customers on the day, which will be Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #1 (Batman Day Special Edition) and Batman/Catwoman: Prelude To Gotham War #1 (Batman Day Special Edition).

Claire and Dan added that the free comics are strictly one per customer and while stocks last.

“We look forward to seeing you,” they added.

Gambit73 sells comics, TV and film memorabilia and collectables. Dan and Claire hope to add some “excitement” to the town centre.
