‘Shop ‘til you drop’ as new womenswear and homeware store opens on Grantham High Street
A brand new womenswear and homeware store has opened on Grantham High Street this morning, creating 12 new jobs.
Store Twenty One has opened in the former premises of Dorothy Perkins, which closed only last month.
Store manager Sam Key, 33, from Harlaxton said: “It is what the town needs. Store Twenty One taking on such a big unit in such a prominent location shows that they are really putting their strength behind Grantham. And for those visiting from outside, they won’t see an empty shop.”
Asked what shoppers can expect, Sam added: “There is lots of fashion and homeware, at affordable prices.”
The store was opened by deputy mayor Coun Bruce Wells, who cut the ribbon telling waiting customers to ‘shop ‘til you drop’.
Coun Wells added: “Store Twenty One seems to have something for women of all ages. I’m absolutely amazed that just weeks after Dorothy Perkins closed Store Twenty One has opened up, and created 12 new jobs.”
