Grantham band Rookie Numbers will play Bob Marley and The Specials covers at Woodland Waters in Ancaster
A local band that plays reggae classics is set to perform in the area.
Rookie Numbers, a ska band, will play a gig at Woodland Waters in Ancaster on Sunday May 28 at 7.30pm.
Ska music originated in Jamaica and was a precursor to the genre of reggae.
Rookie Numbers is an eight-piece band with a full brass section.
All of the members are students at Leeds University of Music.
One of the members, William Blankley, is also the drummer in Grantham band, The Element.
Rookie Numbers play covers of The Specials, Madness, Selector, and Bob Marley.
There will also be a northern soul and motown disco on at Woodland Waters on the night.
Ticket prices are £5 or £6 on the door depending on concessions.
