Great Gonerby Social Club to host third Christmas market

A social club is hosting its annual Christmas market next weekend.

Great Gonerby Social Club will be hosting the market on Sunday, November 26, from 11am until 5.30pm.

This will be the third time the social club is hosting a Christmas market.

Andy Craig, organiser behind the event, said this year’s market is “bigger and better”.

He added: “We try to make each one a bit better each year.

“This year we have 24 stall holders and we have what we call the ‘original Santa’ and one of his elves.

“We have a choir live on stage and we also have a fabulous raffle.

“The prizes will be worth buying a ticket for!

“There’s lots of stalls to browse and plenty to see and do.”

There will also be a meet and greet with Santa, and the first 100 children will get a free selection box.

Alongside stalls, there will be festive food and drinks and also a choir singing on stage.

Admission is free.
