Buckminster Primary School summer fete and dog show is a ‘great success’
A primary school’s fete and dog show was “a great success”.
Buckminster Primary School held a fete and dog show on Saturday June 17.
The event raised £1,100, which will go towards supporting the school.
Nicola Wright, office manager at the school, said: “The School Fete and Dog Show was a great success.
“We had an amazing afternoon and we thank everyone who came along to join in the fun.
“It was fantastic to see the school coming together with the community. There was so much laughter and smiling faces.”
The dog show had prizes for the best puppy, veteran, waggiest tail and more.
There was also a BBQ, tombola, hook-a-duck and stalls.
Nicola added: “Also, a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the organising and for all of the donations received.
“We couldn't have done it without their support.
“Together we raised £1,100 which will be spent for the benefit of every child in the whole school to support their learning.”
