Teenager injured in go-karting collision near Grantham

A Magpas Air Ambulance team attended a go-karting collision yesterday near Grantham.

At 3.07pm on Sunday, (February 7), the ambucopter flew Magpas doctor Lee Soomaroo and paramedic Chris Hawkins to the go-karting circuit near Grantham, where they treated a man in his teens who had been injured in the crash.

The teenager had sustained injuries to his pelvis, but did not require further treatment and was in a stable condition.

The Magpas Air Ambulance was flown by pilot Matt Tacon and crew member Dean Carey. East Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
