Third man charged in connection with robbery at Ancaster Co-op
A third man has been charged in connection with the robbery at Ancaster Co-op on Wednesday, May 30.
James Taylor, 28, of Leatherland Court, Kettering, Northamptonshire, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
He has been remanded into custody and is next due to appear at court on July 2.
Previous update: Two men were arrested on Saturday in relation to this offence and were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and appeared in custody at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Monday morning the 4th June. They are Jack Hess (aged 25) and Josh McLellan (aged 22), both from Peterborough. McLellan was additionally charged with driving whilst disqualified. More information regarding the outcome to follow.
The detectives on the case have also renewed their appeal for witnesses and any further information about the robbery which was reported tojust after 10.30pm on Wednesday evening the 30th May at the Co-op Food Store, Ermine Street, Ancaster.
