Staff at TK Maxx in Grantham have raised a total of £4,800 for Comic Relief.

They have been cycling ‘around the world’ in fancy dress at the store at weekends and the store has sold merchandise. Staff also took part in a quiz at The Beehive pub which raised £180 together with a raffle.

Scott Collingham, of TK Maxx, said: “We would like to thank all customers who donated by buying T-shirts and donating money.”

The store thanked Sunningdale Holidays for donating a weekend in a caravan for auction and also Tropicano Tan, Soapy Joes, Holdroyd sweet shop, No 95 barbers, Barberzone, Feel Good Fitness, The Teaspoon and the Guildhall for donation of prizes.
