Grantham town centre grid-locked following collision at Asda roundabout

The town centre was gridlocked yesterday evening following a collision between a HGV and a car.

At around 4.45pm on Friday, a car and HGV collided at the Asda roundabout, which connects Barrowby Road and Sankt Augustin Way.

An eye-witness said that it looked like “minor injuries” and said the people involved were “all out safe”.

The roundabout reopened to traffic by 5.10pm, but congestion remained in the town centre for some time after.
