East Coast rail line closed between Grantham and Doncaster

Emergency services are dealing with an incident on the railway line between Doncaster and Grantham.

A person is reported to have been hit by a train.

Some trains have been cancelled while others are delayed. Passengers may be able to divert via Lincoln Central. They are being asked to allow for an extended journey time of up to 45 minutes if they are on a diverted train.

Disruption is expected to continue until 12.30pm.
