Update: Five taken to hospital after crash in Gorse Lane, Grantham

Five people were taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a van on Gorse Lane in Grantham this morning.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue used hydraulic cutting gear to remove one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles involved.

East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 8.06am. A solo responder paramedic and four double crew ambulances attended.

Patients were treated at the scene and four were subsequently conveyed to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and one person to Peterborough General Hospital.
