Update: Traffic building up on A1 south of Grantham

Traffic is understood to be flowing freely on the A1 south of Grantham following earlier delays.

The northbound carriageway was reported to be at a standstill between Colsterworth and South Witham at lunch-time.

The cause of the delays was unclear with no incidents reported. Highways England confirmed it is not aware of any work under way on that stretch of road.
