VIDEO: Colourful parade kicks off Grantham Carnival weekend

Grantham Carnival got off to a lively start today with the parade through town.

This year’s theme was children’s TV and plenty of children’s groups, bands and community champions got into the swing of things.

The parade passed along the High Street in front of hundreds of cheering spectators and continued along St Catherine’s Road, Sandon Road and Hill Avenue before moving into Wyndham Park where the carnival continues today and tomorrow.
