Grantham woman used another person’s bank details to buy things for herself
Using another person’s bank details, drug-driving and being drunk and disorderly were charges put to Grantham area defendants in court. Cases brought before Lincolnshire magistrates recently include:
Jake Knight, 26, of Victoria Street, Grantham, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Meriva on Londonthorpe Road, Grantham, on December 23, 2022 with 9.8 micrograms of controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. He was fined £600, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £240 surcharge and banned from driving for 12 months.
Adam Green, 26, of Woodlands Drive, Grantham, pleaded guilty to driving a Subaru Impreza in High Street, Grantham, with 12 micrograms of controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. He was fined £350, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £140 surcharge and banned from driving for 36 months.
Lee Sentance, 45, of Harrowby Road, Grantham, guilty of theft from a motor vehicle by stealing a purse containing £40 in cash, a bank card, ID card and two pairs of sunglasses, in Queen Street, Grantham, on May 23. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £150 costs.
Julie Kavanagh, 51, of Avenue Road, Grantham, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Grantham on June 25. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Lloyd Buckley, 39, of no fixed address in Grantham, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol worth £117.50 from Sainsbury’s in Sleaford, on June 27. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £16 surcharge.
Daron Smith, 59, of Union Street, Grantham, pleaded guilty to using a Mercedes in Manners Street, Grantham, on March 3 with no insurance. He also admitted driving when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was fined £100, banned from driving for 15 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £40 surcharge.
Christopher Hay, 35, of William Street, Grantham, pleaded guilty to stealing three 25-piece socket sets from B&Q in Grantham on July 21; stealing three bottles of Au Vodka worth £128 from Sainsbury’s in Grantham on July 17; breaching a criminal behaviour order by stealing from Sainsbury’s in Grantham. He was ordered to pay £150 and £128 in compensation.
Christopher Mascot, 36, of Station Avenue, South Witham, pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot 207 in Station Road, Corby Glen, on June 7 with more than 800 micrograms of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, per litre of blood. He was fined £120, banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay 385 costs and a £48 surcharge.
Lauren Arthur, 32, of Shakespeare Avenue, Grantham, pleaded guilty to using the bank details of another person to obtain goods and services for herself at multiple locations across Grantham between December 5, 2022 and January 24, 2023. She was made the subject of a community order and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Nadine Collyer, 44, of Union Street, Grantham, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Union Street, on July 1. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 in costs.
