ANGLING: Cross wins Grantham AA senior citizens’ match

Grantham Angling Association senior citizens’ match was fished at Queen Elizabeth Park and was won by B. Cross.

Results: 1 B. Cross 32lb 11oz, 2 B. Priestley 20.09, 3 C. Hardingham 17.03, 4 M. Pattison 15.04, 5 D. Squires 12.02.

l Bottesford and District AA’s club match was fished at Willow Lakes, Foston, and produced netfuls of fish.

Results: 1 F. Bennett 83.03, 2 B. Watchorn 81.04, 3 P. Kimberley 60.10, 4 B. Cross 54.09, 5 M. Calcraft 50.15, 6 A. Howe 45.14.

The next match takes place on Grantham Canal on May 10. The draw is at the Muston Gap at 9am.
