ATHLETICS: Caythorpe Dash open to teams and individuals

The fourth annual Caythorpe Dash takes place on Sunday, February 1.

The trail and road half-marathon challenge event is open to teams of four (two male, two female) or can be entered by individual runners. Medals will be awarded for fastest male and female, as well as the winning team.

The challenging course is fully marshalled and signposted, with three manned water stations. There will be small sections of road but it is mainly trail, footpaths, bridleways, across fields, uphill and over stiles.

The event begins at 11am and starts and finishes at Caythorpe Playing Field. At the end will be hot soup, Lincolnshire sausage hot dogs and cakes.

All team entries must be pre-entered, although a maximum of 50 individual on-the-day runners will be accepted.
