Just under 300 runners crossed the finishing line in this popular South Kesteven event.

Robin Atter of Grantham Running Club travelled to Skellingthorpe to take part in the Skelly 10k Trail race.

Starting and finishing at the Skellingthorpe pavilion, the race is a multitarian course, taking in paths, trails, woodland and farmland.

The race is organised by Lincoln and District runners with competitors entering from other Lincolnshire clubs as well as non-affiliated runners.

More than 275 runners took part on what was a warm but pleasant evening. The recent dry weather made the conditions good for a trail run.

Robin finished in 18th place, with a time of 42:41. All runners were given a goodie bag at the finish line.
