David Lee has taken over as team captain at Sudbrook Moor Golf Club
After a truly excellent period of office, Martin Greene has handed the team captain's reins to David Lee at Sudbrook Moor Golf Club.
David is honoured to be leading Sudbrook Moor's scratch A team in the South Lincolnshire League.
In Division Three, they will meet South Kyme, Kirton Holme, Belton Woods and Tydd St Giles on a home and away basis, fielding six matchplay pairs.
The season starts after Easter and 40-year-old David admits that he is raring to go.
He has been a Sudbrook Moor member since his early teens, having started his golf at the club's junior coaching clinic, nurtured by PGA coach Tim Hutton.
The family all became involved in a new sport, David, his two brothers and their father.
David’s experienced 25 years in the game, along with other team sport involvement, gives him a skilled eye, when selecting the pairings from among his squad members and he will be looking for wholehearted, experienced partnerships.
He has great plans for his charity year and is yet to name his nominated charity. His captain's big fundraising day is scheduled for Saturday, June 15.
