Special ticket offer for Grantham Town’s home game with Sheffield FC on Non-League Day

Grantham Town will be running a special offer for their home match with Sheffield FC next month as part of this season's Non-League Day.

The Gingerbreads host the oldest club in the world on Saturday, March 23, and will be giving away match tickets for the Northern Premier League East Division game.

The club will be visiting local schools over the coming weeks to hand out a ticket which will allow admission for one adult and up to three children for free.

Grassroots clubs across the area are also invited to take up the offer with numerous activities being organised on match-day.

Club chairman Paul Rawden said: "We need to get more youngsters here on a match day and what a great time to do this.

"Non-League Day is a great celebration of football. Coming out and supporting your local team means more than supporting a team from miles away.

"We have an amazing loyal bunch of supporters of all different ages so come and join the singing on the East Stand or be close to the dug-outs in the Main Stand.

"Head coach Louis Bland has us playing some excellent football as we look to rise up the table."

The club are also inviting Friends of Sandon and Ambergate along to do a bucket collection for their amazing fundraising for Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship (GANF).

After the match, local rock band Under the Covers are on from 6pm at The Gingerbread.

Any school or grassroots football club wanting tickets should email enquires@granthamtownfc.com

The Gingerbreads have a home match this Saturday when they host Grimsby Borough.
