Prize presentation brings Grantham Town's season to a close
Grantham Town brought their memorable season to a suitable close with a prize presentation evening at a packed Gingerbread bar on Saturday night.
Though hard to forget last weekend's heartbreaking defeat at Ashton United that denied the Gingerbreads promotion to the National League North, players, management, staff, club directors and supporters gathered at The Meres for the final time this season to celebrate Grantham's momentous league campaign.
Chairman Roger Booth thanked anyone who had done something for the club, be it big or small, over the season. Town manager Adam Stevens added his gratitude to the Gingerbreads supporters all who have been involved with the club. A special mention went to physio Nigel Marshall.
Proceedings were handed over to Gingerbreads legend Adrian Speed who oversaw the presentation of prizes.
