Harrowby United have retained the vast majority of last season's squad despite five players departing the United Counties League club.

And manager Jamie McGhee has kept together the core of the squad which finished in 14th place in the 20-team division last term.

Goalkeepers Alex Smith and Yinka Adebowale will be returning to the JRL Brickwork Stadium along with the long-serving Kemal Yeniberitz and the highly-rated duo of Harry Allcock and Tom Harris.

They have been joined by David Kolapo, Ethan Greenidge, Harvey Graves, Issa Gaye, Joe Nicholson, Kane Hutchinson-Wilkes, Kegan Everington, Kyle Reek, Lewis Marsh, Lord Marfo, Richard Kankam, Taylor Gray and Toby Lee in committing their futures of the club.

Boss McGhee will also be adding new faces to a squad which will be without captain Jack Gurney and striker Elliot King next season.

The departures of Scott Floyd, Harrison Dee and Brima Darimy have also been announced by the club.

Utility player Dee is relocating with travel commitments ruling out a return to the club for next season.

McGhee said: "Harrison has been an outstanding player and one of the most genuine individuals I've had the pleasure of working with.

"He is highly respected by both the squad and everyone associated with Harrowby.

"Over the past few seasons, he's consistently delivered reliable performances across multiple positions, often without the recognition he deserves.

"We sincerely thank him for his contributions and wish him all the very best for the future."

Floyd joined the Arrows from Skegness Town last season but has received an offer to join league rivals Newark and Sherwood which is too good to turn down.

McGhee explained: "Floydy has been a player I've followed closely for several years.

"Last season, he brought a breath of fresh air to the team with his high energy, strong work ethic, and infectious personality — both on and off the pitch.

"He quickly became a valuable presence within the group.

"Floydy has now decided to pursue a new opportunity and will be moving on from the club. To his credit, he's received an offer that is simply too good to turn down.

"I'd like to sincerely thank him for his contribution during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the season ahead."

Work and family commitments have led to the departure of striker Diramy.

McGhee added: ""Bri's time with us has sadly come to an end owing to his work commitments and responsibilities as a young father which understandably takes priority at this stage in his life.

"Bri joined the club a few seasons ago with high hopes. Unfortunately, injuries limited his time on the pitch, but he did score some important goals at crucial moments during our promotion season.

"He's been a valued member of the squad, known for his strong character. He's both liked and respected by all at the club.

"Thank you, Bri for your time, commitment and contribution to the Arrows. Best wishes to you and your young family for the future."

McGhee has also lost the services of Carl Muggleton from his management team after he decided to take up a new role closer to home.

The Arrows boss commented: "We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Carl Muggleton who will be moving on to take up an exciting new opportunity as manager at a club closer to home.

"While we were naturally disappointed to receive the news, we are also incredibly proud to see Carl take this next step in football management.

"His time with us has been marked by innovation, energy, and unwavering commitment.

"Carl played a vital role in our promotion success and brought fresh ideas that helped drive both the team and the club forward.

"He will be greatly missed, not only for his professional contributions but also for the character and friendship he brought to all at the club.

"We are grateful for everything he has given and wish him every success for the future."
