Liverpool FC’s Phil Thompson to speak at Grantham Town dinner

Liverpool FC legend and ex-England player Phil Thompson will be the guest speaker at Grantham Town’s next sporting dinner event at the Eden House Hotel (formerly Kings Hotel) in North Parade on Friday, March 6.

Also now well known as a football pundit on Sky Sports, Thompson made more than 450 appearances for Liverpool and was capped 42 times for England.

The evening will include a three-course dinner, Thompson’s talk and a set from comedian Paul Boardman.

The night is sponsored by Indulgence Delivered dessert company, whose owner Martin Richards is an avid Liverpool fan.
