A golf professional has outlined his vision with the aim of attracting more players to the sport.
Marley Najak is the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) professional based at Belton Park Golf Club near Grantham.
Working under the golf brand of the club's head professional Shay Brennan, Marley wants to entice more ladies, men and juniors into golf.
He explained: "The club and the golf team are extremely friendly and welcoming at Belton Park.
"We all understand here at Belton Park how sometimes golf courses can be viewed as unwelcoming and there's a stigma around them.
"However, here everyone is extremely friendly and are really keen to see me succeed in my goal to get more people into golf."
Marley has set up a marketing campaign on social media and plans to unveil a banner at the club to attract more people to the sport.
He added: "I have a growing relationship with the Lincolnshire Golf County Union and they have told me they want to get more ladies, men and juniors into golf.
"They are going to push anything I send out to them relating to this.
"There will be posters going out on social media into all local groups, such as Spotted Belton, and all other surrounding groups in the area."
Marley plans to introduce ladies golf lessons with a glass of Prosecco afterwards and six hour Get into Golf sessions which include lunch free at the club.
He is also looking to resurrect previous relationships with King's Grammar School in Grantham, Carre's Grammar School in Sleaford and the Kesteven and Grantham Girls School.
Marley continued: "I want to try and get more people used to the atmosphere here at the club and to create a warm and vibrant environment for everyone.
"I will be picking the brains of England Golf, PGA and the Golf Foundation and getting advice from some of the best people around to try to help more people get into golf.
"We have some of the most stunning scenery in the county.
"With beautiful wildlife and with it being on National Trust ground, it makes Belton Park a truly unique and a perfect venue to get into golf.
"My goal is to also try and get back into those schools by doing sessions with the long-term vision of the schools coming to us at Belton Park."
