Victory for Lewis Pittam of the Siiap Muay Thai club in Grantham




Lewis Pittam produced a superb display to make a winning start on his Muay Thai fight debut.

The Siiap Muay Thai club fighter was triumphant at a show in Birmingham after an impressive performance.

Patrick Ward, who owns the Grantham-based club, was full of praise for his fighter's display.

He said: "His opponent was very tough but Lewis showed great heart as he was pushed into deep waters with some very hard knees to the body inside the clinch.

"Lewis kept his range and used his left kick beautifully to outclass his opponent

"He also displayed great striking and it was a comfortable win at the end."

Pittam was performing on one of the best Muay Thai gym shows in the country.

And he dropped his opponent within 20 seconds of the second round before going on to secure the victory in one of the best fights of the night.

The club would like to thank coach Jordan Reid who travels from Nottingham every week to train the fighters at the Grantham gym.
