According to the United website, Patterson has previously played for Ilkeston Town, Gresley Rovers, and Clifton All Whites.

Patterson knew The Highwaymen manager, Jon D'Laryea from their time together at Long Eaton.

"Latrell has been on the radar for some time," said Sleaford Town joint manager Tom Ward.

"He is still only 24, we’re confident we can tailor him into not only a top centre half at this level but also above."

"I’d like to thank everyone associated with The Highwaymen and wish them nothing but the best for the future," said Patterson after announcing the news online.

The Greens confirmed that Patterson will be put into the lineup in their clash on the road against Loughborough Students on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
