Following on from their success last month at the Midlands Championships, students from the Grantham Tae Kwon-Do Club have continued on the medal trail.

They took two gold and two silver medals from the TAGB English Championships at Worcester Arena.

Red belt Alan Richardson got proceedings underway in the patterns division where he achieved silver in the men's section.

He then went one better after fighting his way through to the final of the men's middleweight sparring where he won the English Championship title and a gold medal for the club.

In the ladies section, red belt Diane Newton won the second English title and gold medal for the club in the sparring.

Narrowly missing out on points in the final of the men’s green belt division, Dean Baker achieved silver and the runner-up title in the heavyweight section.

The club are now back training hard at the King's School in Brook Street for the TAGB Welsh Championships in May in Cardiff.
