Sudbrook Moor take part in the Four-Corner Annual Social Day at Kirton Holme Golf Club
Sudbrook Moor's senior captain Steve Squires victoriously led his selected team of 10 on the Four-Corner Annual Social Day to Kirton Holme Golf Club.
Situated just outside Boston, the seniors of Kirton Holme hosted a grand day out for 40 players with a fabulous pre-golf breakfast and an end of day trophy presentation.
A hail storm whipped through the field at one stage but predominantly the sun shone on a cold day.
Individual stableford scores competed for the best team aggregate which Sudbrook Moor won by two points from Gedney Hill.
Sudbrook scored 285 points with Gedney returning 283 while hosts Kirton Holme were third with 280.
Captain Steve was also contesting the Best Captain Trophy, which he missed out on by one point from Pottergate skipper Fred Bartlett.
Sudbrook scores: Simon Gray 34, Pete Armstrong 32, Trevor Whatton and Nigel Corby 31, Ian Batty 29, Andy Milner and Paul McCarthy 27, Ian Mason 26, Michael Coupland 25, Steve Squires 23.
