Sudbrook Moor Golf Club round-up
Sudbrook Moor's Bramley Trophy scratch team have continued in winning style.
They hosted Lincoln Golf Club in a three-man singles format for the second round of Lincolnshire's inter-club knock-out competition.
Matches were very hard fought with Levi Desmond holding the gallery in suspense and winning with his birdie putt on the 18th.
Third string Craig Toyne was buzzing with a birdie to finish his tie on the 17th hole and clinch a 2-1 victory.
Rob Reid met with a putting genius and enjoyed a great match to finish on the 16th.
The victory sets up a semi-final encounter with Greetham Valley on July 8.
A beautiful summer's day welcomed the team of 12 ladies travelling from Sudbrook Moor for their annual friendly fun competition in Lincoln with the ladies of Pottergate Golf Club.
It is now a popular tradition to combine the two clubs in a drawn four-ball.
Sudbrook Moor's Myra Evangelista and Carol Chillcott finished streets ahead of the field to take first prize.
Amanda Roberts and Shirley Gardiner came in second.
The return date, hosted by Sudbrook Moor in June 2026, is fondly looked forward to.
