Gonerby started the game strongly and early pressure was rewarded when Bramley slotted home from a Coates corner.

Baker, Coates and Meffen all brought fine saves from the Collingham keeper before Meffen scored a terrific goal into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Stewardson made a fine save to deny Collingham just before the break.

More pressure from Gonerby led to their third, with a powerful strike from Hardy, and Coates made it four, slotting home from a Meffen cross.

Collingham battled hard but failed to find a consolation goal.

Gonerby’s man of the match was Coates.
