South Holland Little Miracles raises festive funds at winter fair in Holbeach

A winter fair raised funds for families with children who have additional needs.

Little Miracles South Holland held its festive event in Holbeach on Sunday featuring stalls and Santa’s magical sensory grotto.

Branch manager Elizabeth Batterham was pleased with the turn out on the day and said: “We think there were about 150 people on and off throughout the day.

“It was quite well-attended- we do it every year to get a bit of money in for Christmas.”

Stallholders sold sweets and handmade items and businesses joined in the event that was held in the main hall at the centre.

A sum of £446.50 was raised and visitors could enjoy the tombola, raffle and hair braiding with light up plaits for the festive season.

The charity will have three giving trees in the town centre this Saturday so shoppers can take a tag and buy a gift for the child and drop it into the centre on Church Street.

The trees are situated in Tesco, Funky Dora and at the church.
