Four-vehicle collision at Long Sutton sees motorist taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’
A motorist has been taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following a four-vehicle collision earlier this morning.
Emergency services were on the scene at Wisbech Road, Long Sutton before 6am today (February 25).
“Officers were called to Wisbech Road on the A1101at 5.38am today to a report of a four-vehicle collision between the drivers of a grey Ford Focus, a black Toyota, a black Volkswagen Golf and a white Citroen,” a Lincolnshire Police statement said.
“The driver of the Focus was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road has been re-opened.”
Fire crews from Long Sutton and Spalding also attended.
A Lincolnshirec Fire & Rescue statement posted this morning said: “Crews from Long Sutton Fire Station and Spalding Fire Station are currently in attendance at an RTC involving multiple vehicles on the A1101, Long Sutton.”
