Holbeach Town and Country Fayre enjoys strong support in spite of weather
Weather didn’t put off visitors to a popular annual event, which took place across two days featuring classic cars and fairground rides.
The Holbeach Town and Country Fayre at Hurdletree Bank was a two-day affair with stalls for traders, show horses in the main arena, parades of steam engines and vintage tractors.
A statement on the group’s Facebook page thanked the volunteers and committee for organising the dog and family-friendly annual event and their ‘incredible’ efforts.
It stated: “What a weekend, 2024 show is a wrap.
“We had plenty of ups and downs but all in all a great show.
“Thank you to every single person who came down to see us and to all our amazing exhibitors and traders.”
Visitors were encouraged to don their wellies to handle the conditions and a fly past was cancelled — but neither dampened spirits.
Plans are now underway for the event next year and further information can be found on the Holbeach Town and Country Fayre Facebook page.
