Man taken to hospital after Sutton Bridge fight involving knife, three arrested
Police appealing for witnesses to a fight which has left two men injured.
A call to force control room was made just after 7.50pm on Friday 30 (May 30), reporting a fight on Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, near to The Curlew Centre.
The incident spread across Bridge Road near to New Road
“One man in his 20’s has been taken to hospital with injuries we believe were caused by a knife,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
“His condition is not believed to be life threatening or life changing.”
Three men, aged 20, 28 and 37 have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
They remain in custody.
“We are appealing for anyone who has any information or recorded footage of the incident to get in touch,” the statement added.
“Our investigation continues this morning, and the Investigating officer is asking for anyone who has relevant information to come forward.”
Chief Inspector Richard Nethercott, Response and Neighbourhood Policing for Boston and South Holland, said: “I think the local community will be concerned when they hear the details of the incident last night.
“I can reassure people that we have those involved in custody and our officers will be speaking to them over the course of day and maybe longer.”
